My Own Cottage was founded in Orillia, Ontario as a builder with its factory, offices, and team rooted in Simcoe County’s prefab and cottage-country market.
Since our founding in 2021, we have delivered prefab homes, cottages, cabins, and garden suites to lots across Ontario — from serviced urban lots in the City of Orillia to waterfront parcels in Muskoka, rural properties in Severn and Ramara townships, and lots throughout the broader Simcoe County corridor.
Orillia’s position at the gateway to cottage country — 45 minutes south of Muskoka, adjacent to Lake Couchiching, and within reach of Northern Ontario’s rural market — shaped what we build and how we build it.

Our Delivery Scope
Ontario-wide primary. Canada-wide delivery available. We have navigated permit processes with the City of Orillia Building Division, Simcoe County municipalities, Muskoka District Member Municipalities, and townships across Northern Ontario.
